CACEI is the first accrediting body for undergraduate study programs established in Mexico. It is a signatory (full member) of the Washington Accord (WA), which is part of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA). He is a member of the Ibero-American Network for Quality Assurance for Higher Education (RIACES); and the Lima Agreement, an organization that seeks good practices in the accreditation of educational programs in Latin America.

Our Mission

Contribute to the improvement of the quality in the training of engineers through the preparation of academic cadres that carry out the evaluation and accreditation with international recognition of the undergraduate higher education programs in engineering that are taught by public and private institutions, both in the country and abroad., with quality, transparency, confidentiality, professionalism and honesty.

Our vision

By the year 2026, the CACEI:

• It will be an internationally recognized accrediting body as a leader for the quality of the services it offers, the transparency of its processes and the reliability of the results, as well as for the professionalism of its evaluators;
• Offer Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) a permanent quality service, through counseling and training of academic cadres;
• It will have certified processes in accordance with international quality standards; and
• It will be linked with the Productive and Academic sectors, as well as with international accrediting organizations in the engineering area.
